About Lisa Tarves, Makeup Artist

Lisa Tarves, Owner of Bling! Makeup Artistry, is a freelance makeup artist located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Discovering cosmetics and makeup artistry as a teenager, Lisa started experimenting and became fascinated by the transformations she could make in herself and her friends. Always helping someone find a new look and being the first to try the newest line of makeup, Lisa decided early on to make cosmetic artistry a part of her life and her career.

Lisa began her career in corporate marketing planning events such as company meetings, conferences, tradeshows and seminars. Eventually she decided to make the transition into planning private events including weddings and parties. Lisa founded Lisa’s Elegant Things (www.lisaselegantthings.com) in 2003. In this successful endeavor, Lisa designs Signature Frames for brides and grooms all over the country, and even the world, for use as an alternative to a guest book at their weddings. In 2004, the company expanded their product line to include elegant invitations, seating charts, table number frames, table menu frames, and even beautiful wedding jewelry and accessories. Lisa's Elegant Things now, not only designs products for weddings, but for all occasions!

Bling! Makeup Artistry is the newest creation of Lisa Tarves. Founded in 2006, Lisa has been traveling all over the Philadelphia Suburban area doing makeovers for brides, bridal parties and other special occasions. She is continually educating herself and others on cosmetic and skin care products, trends and cosmetic application techniques for her artistry. She is in touch with modern beauty and intuitive to the needs of today’s woman.
